On Feb 22, senior lecturers Cormac Kavanagh and Leo Norris arrived at the International College of Xiamen University. They would give intensive teaching to students majoring in Finance and Accounting, and they would teach three courses: Financial Management, International Financial Markets and Managerial Accounting.

With the advent of education globalization, bringing in foreign experts and educators is one of the key elements and important path to international education. The college has always emphasized the integration of foreign educators and has strengthened partnership with many overseas education institutions, and introduced up-to-date education concepts and good quality resources as well.

Notably, the college’s internationalization of school operation includes mutual recognition agreement on credits, top-up programs and teaching staff exchange with overseas partner universities. The college not only recruits foreigners for language teaching but more importantly for subject courses. The foreign teaching staff have become increasingly diverse, specialized and internationalized, which has significantly improved the college’s overall teaching quality and standards.
