This guide provides an overview of medical resources available to faculty and students, including:

The campus health clinic for routine care and health certifications; Nearby hospitals for urgent or specialized treatment; Locations of life-saving AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) across campus;

1. Campus Health Clinic（校区医务室）

The campus clinic offers basic medical care, first aid, and health consultations for students and staff.

Location: Next to the North Supermarket (North Campus)

Operating Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Sunday)

Note: For swimming pool access, you must obtain a health certificate from this clinic. Please bring ¥12 in cash, a one-inch photo, and your campus ID during office hours.

2. Nearby Hospital- No. 1 Hospital of Zhangzhou Development Zone（漳州开发区第一医院)

For more serious medical conditions or after-hours emergencies, the closest public hospital is just a short bus ride away.

Name: No. 1 Hospital of Zhangzhou Development Zone

Location: North of the campus; take Bus No. 1 and get off at “Development Zone Hospital” stop

Services: General outpatient care, emergency treatment, and inpatient services

This hospital is well-equipped to handle common illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical situations.

3. AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Locations (AED）

AEDs—often referred to as “life-saving devices”—are installed across the campus to respond quickly to cardiac emergencies. These easy-to-use devices can significantly improve survival rates during sudden cardiac arrest.

5.Hospitals in Xiamen

The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University (referred to as the First Hospital)厦 门 大 学 附 属 第 一 医 院 ( 简 称 第 一 医 院 ).

The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, founded in 1937, is the largest Grade 3A hospital in southeastern Fujian. In 2019, the Municipal Health Authority commissioned a third party to evaluate

hospitals in the city; the First Hospital ranked first in comprehensive strength, and some of its doctors can speak English.

Xiamen Humanity Hospital (Partial English service)（厦门弘爱医院）

Xiamen Humanity Hospital is a non-profit general hospital funded by C&D Group Co., Ltd., which officially opened in 2018. Specialized services include the International Medical Department and MDT(Multi-Disciplinary Team) consultations, with English-speaking diagnosis services.
